While attending college full time, she worked full time for a biotechnology research lab intent on curing aging. Unfortunately funding is always in question for privately funded research laboratories, so she moved on to work in healthcare. Tober started Nature's Complement after developing adverse reactions to many of the common personal care products found on store shelves, and now works on her business full time while continuing to research health and developing products for her business.
